Meet the Estheticians of Skin Deep

Skin Deep Started with a Friendship—And It Shows

Before diving into the Estheticians of Skin Deep, here’s a little history on how it all began.

If you’ve ever been around Mariquita and Beth together, you know—it’s something special. Their friendship is the foundation of Skin Deep, and you can feel it the moment you walk in.

They met years ago while working together at another spa, but it didn’t take long for their relationship to grow into something deeper than colleagues. They were the kind of work friends who could finish each other’s sentences, who stayed late dreaming up bigger things, and who supported one another through the highs and lows of life and business.

Opening Skin Deep wasn’t just a career move—it was a shared vision. A place where real connection matters just as much as skin science. A place where every team member is chosen not just for their talent, but for the care and intention they bring to their clients. A place that still feels like home, even after nine years and counting.

The love Mariquita and Beth have for each other shows up in every part of Skin Deep—from the way the team collaborates, to the little details you notice when you're on the treatment table. It’s not just a spa. It’s a reflection of what happens when women support women and build something beautiful together.

Meet the Estheticians Behind Skin Deep

🌿 Ali

How long she’s been an esthetician: 3 years

Why she loves what she does: Being able to have a job that is soothing and relaxing for not only my clients but myself is something I cherish. No matter what kind of day I’m having, if I can give a facial, it grounds me and can turn any mood into a good one. The gratification I feel when I can help make a difference with someone’s skin is hard to beat.

Fun fact clients may not know: I grew up with Dalmatians and currently have two—Maverick and Goose. (Yes, those Maverick and Goose.)

TV shows on repeat: Friends and Schitt’s Creek

Her self-care ritual after a long day: Takeout + wine or a mocktail, a little at-home facial, and then a book or movie to wind down.

🌿 Tiara

Favorite Skin Deep treatment: Dermaplaning! I get such satisfaction when clients touch their skin and say, “Wow, that’s smooth.” The results are always stunning.

Her go-to product: PCA’s ExLinea serum. It mimics Botox without the injection, and I truly believe it’s why I haven’t needed Botox yet!

Favorite Fort Collins hangout: Pinewood—quiet, peaceful, and perfect for paddleboarding, dog swims, and kid playtime.

Food she could eat forever: Mango!

🌿 Beth

How long she’s been an esthetician: 25 years

Favorite Skin Deep treatment: Dermaplane! It’s one of the most satisfying services to perform because the results are immediate and amazing.

Favorite product: Jan Marini’s Regeneration Booster. It helps rebuild collagen and improves skin texture and laxity. I’m 49 and have never had Botox or fillers—and this product is a big reason why!

Favorite Skin Deep treatment: Dermaplane with Oxy Trio. It’s a beautiful exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin and vellus hair while oxygenating the skin to support a healthy barrier and reduce redness.
